2006 race 5
Race 5 of the ’shock and awe’ training phase of my season. The idea here is to ’sharpen the stick’ of a resonable winter base. What this does for me is to build physical adaptations to the rigors of racing. Today was Wells ave and there was some serious talents there. I really love this type of early season training races as its a rare opportunity to mix it up with my friends and some of the best racers in New England. Here’s how it ended up: 40 laps, 33.4mi, 26.7mph avg, 33.6 max. No pics of wells, but here’s a snip from Charge Pond yesterday.
